I am lucky to be here...

About my home town

I am an Indian, hailing from Irinjalakuda  and Irinjalakuda, mythologically known as NANDI/ SAMGAMA GRAMAM, which is  one of the first few municipalities in Kerala State, right from the formation of the state under the sovereignty of democratic INDIA. Geographically Kerala is situated in the extreme south of India. The state has a vast area of sea shore which it shares with Arabian Sea.

Irinjalakuda has a divine history in Hindu mythology like all other Indian states. We have a temple of Lord Bharatha, (said to be the one and only temple of lord BHARATHA) which was once respected and considered as the cultural and commercial capital of Irinjalakuda and was once the richest. Many of our forefathers contributed their lives to scientific inventions that are ranging from all branches of science to culture and art. The essence and spirit of Irinjalakuda is not complete if referred it without respecting the grate personalities like Unnayi WarrierAmmannur Madhava ChakyarThruppekkulam Achutha Marar. Kavi Narayana Menon, K. V. Ramanathan...

Legendary play back singer Sri. P. Jayachandran, our joy and pride, is a blessed play back singer, having with an inimitable rendering style, has his name etched in the history of South Indian filmdom especially in Malayalam Cinema.

Regret and Hoping to be excused for any missing and my humble "pranamam" for those great personalities who walked ahead of us to make our path clear and comfortable.
